Wayne State University's men's basketball team received recognition in the 2023-24 GLIAC postseason awards, with three players honored. Harris, a sophomore, emerged as the highest scorer for Wayne State, leading the team in scoring and free throw percentage. Williams, Jr., a senior, led in rebounds, total boards, defensive rebounds, and ranked third in steals and blocks. He was described as a "great glue guy" for the team by Coach Smothers.
