Baker, Madison Earn First D-II All-American Honors

The second and final day of the 2024 NCAA Division II indoor track and field Championships at Pittsburg State on Saturday (March 9) saw two Ashland University student-athletes earn their first All-American citations. In the men's pole vault, sophomore Garrett Baker 's personal best of 5.24 meters/17-feet-2¼ earned him a fifth-place finish. In the men's 800-meter run, another sophomore, Daylen Madison , took sixth in 1:49.84. With seven team points, Ashland's men finished in 29 th place in the team standings.
