Jax State To Carry 8-Seed Into CUSA Tourney After Road Loss at SHSU

HUNTSVILLE, Texas – Jax State fell 81-73 on the road to regular-season Conference USA champion Sam Houston on Saturday. The Gamecocks (14-17) finish their inaugural season in CUSA with a 6-10 mark. With other results across the league on the final Saturday, that places Jax State as the No. 8 seed in next week's tournament in Huntsville, Ala.
