Manhattan’s upset bid thwarted by Missoula Loyola in State B opener

Manhattan had a tough first-round draw at the state Class B tournament with having to face defending state champion Missoula Loyola right out of the gate Thursday night. For a half, the Tigers managed to hang around and trailed by just five points. But Manhattan was unable to keep pace with the Rams in the second half in a 64-39 defeat in First Interstate Arena at MetraPark.
