Texas A&M-Corpus Christi Women’s Basketball Team Shines in SLC Postseason Awards

FRISCO, Texas – The Texas A&M-Corpus Christi women’s basketball team was represented by three student-athletes on the Southland Conference postseason awards including two each on All-Conference and All-Defensive teams, announced by the league office Saturday morning. Graduate Alecia Westbrook found her name on both, earning SLC All-Conference First-Team and All-Defensive team recognitions for the third straight year each. Senior Mireia Aguado found her name on the All-Conference Second-Team while senior Paige Allen was pegged to the All-Defensive Team for the second time in her career.
