Azusa Pacific Dominates Oxy Distance Carnival & Spring Break Classic with Top Finishes

LOS ANGELES, Calif. – Azusa Pacific men’s and women’s track & field competed at the Oxy Distance Carnival & Spring Break Classic. today. The meet was highlighted by Juan Diego Castro, Nixon Korir, Joey Rauwera and Sophia Camacho’s first place finishes, along with Castro’s NCAA DII Provisional time in the 800. On the men’s side, Castro not only earned an NCAA DII Provisional time and first place finish in the 800, but he also ranks first in all of Division II in this event with a time of 1:50.29.
