Here’s a look at the 2023-24 All-District 1-5A boys basketball team

Captain Shreve and Southwood dominated play in District 1-5A with each team going 12-2 in the league. The stellar squads ended up meeting in the LHSAA quarterfinals with district MVP Jeremiah Evans hitting a 3-pointer at the buzzer to vault the Cowboys into the LHSAA March Madness semifinals in Lake Charles. The success in the league allowed the Gators and Cowboys to dominate the All-District team. MVP Jeremiah Evans is a Louisiana Lafayette signee.
