The Northwest Missouri State University women's basketball team captured an at-large bid into the 2024 NCAA Div. II Tournament. The Bearcats (23-7 overall) will face a familiar foe in its opening round game against the Fort Hays State University Tigers. Northwest and Fort Hays State met in the MIAA Tournament semifinals on Saturday in Kansas City. FHSU lost in the MIAA tourney title game against Pittsburg State on Sunday.
