Warhawks claim first girls basketball state title in 33 years
ASHWAUBENON — Sophomore guard Natalie Kussow scored 26 points and took over in the closing minutes to secure Arrowhead’s first state title in 33 years with a 69-59 victory over Neenah in the WIAA Division 1 girls basketball state championship Friday at the Resch Center. UConn recruit Allie Ziebell led all players with 35 points and knocked down one of her 29 shot attempts from 3-point range to bring the Rockets (24-6) within 59-55 with 3 minutes, 41 seconds remaining.
