Christopher Newport Athletes Earn Second-Team USTFCCCA All-American Honors for Impressive NCAA Performances

NEW ORLEANS — After starring at the NCAA Indoor Track & Field Championships last week, Christopher Newport standouts Wade Dunkelberger and Katie Stevens were celebrated as second-team All-Americans by the United States Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association on Monday afternoon. Dunkelberger and Stevens both received the national recognition after placing in the top-16 in their respective events at the championship meet, which was held at the Virginia Beach Sports Center last week.
