MEN’S TRACK SUCCESSFUL AT NATIONALS

PITTSBURGH, Kan.— University of Charleston Indoor Men's Track & Field put up outstanding performances at the NCAA Division II Indoor Track & Field Championships at the Robert W. Plaster Center this past weekend. Five Golden Eagles represented the University of Charleston and the Mountain East Conference in their events. George Couttie got things started at nationals in the preliminary mile. With a quick 4:21.15 pace, the freshman raced to an eighth-place finish, which qualified him for the finals on March 9.
