Mustangs Place Six On Academic All-ASUN Team

ATLANTA (SMU) – The SMU Men's Swim and Dive team placed six student-athletes on the Academic All-ASUN Team in a release by the conference on Monday. The Mustangs were led by Chris Mykkanen , who was named the ASUN Men's Scholar Athlete of the Year. Mykkanen holds a 4.0 cumulative GPA while working towards his Masters in Civil Engineering. At the ASUN Championship, Mykkanen claimed the gold medal in the 200-Yard Free while also setting a new championship meet record in the event.
