With most of the student body taking a break for rest and relaxation, the Lufkin Lady Panthers instead spent a day of their spring break battling one of the state's best. After falling behind by double digits, the Panthers fought to try to get back in it before dropping an 11-5 decision to the A&M Consolidated Tigers in non-district softball action at Lufkin High School Monday afternoon.
