Philips Claims Eighth Goaltender Of The Week Honor
Jim Pierce 3/11/2024 AMESBURY, Mass.— Fifth year Gwyneth Philips of the Northeastern women's hockey team was named the Hockey East Stop It Goaltending Goaltender of the Week for the eighth time this season. Philips posted 28 saves in the 4-1 Hockey East Quarterfinal victory over New Hampshire. She then had a career-high 51 saves in a 1-0 overtime loss to Connecticut in the Hockey East Championship game. Philips ended her season with a 1.17 goals against average and .955 save percentage.
