Savannah Invitational: Women’s Golf Team Washington and Lee University Ranks Fourth After First Round
SAVANNAH, Ga. – The ninth-ranked Washington and Lee University women’s golf team opened up play at the Savannah Invitational, hosted by Berry College, at the Savannah Country Club on Monday. The Generals turned in a score card of 312 (+24) and sit in fourth place after one round of the 36-hole tournament. Through 18 holes, the Blue and White are led by first-year Ella Wong who sits one stroke over, tallied on the back stretch after scoring par on the first nine holes.
