Trinity baseball No. 1 in Kentucky as season begins; 6 others from Louisville among top 25
With the Kentucky high school baseball regular season beginning this week, Trinity High School is ranked No. 1 in the state in the Prep Baseball Kentucky/Kentucky High School Baseball Coaches Association Top 25. Trinity finished 33-7 last season after falling to St. Xavier 3-1 in the semifinals of the Seventh Region Tournament. Key senior leaders for the Shamrocks this season will include Kyle Campbell (University of Louisville commit), Dane Morrow (Tennessee), Evan Boeckmann (Wright State) and Jake Schweitzer (U of L).
