Women’s Tennis: Hawks Sweep St. Norbert in Florida Opener

ORLANDO, Fla. – The Roger Williams University women's tennis team defeated St. Norbert, 9-0, in the first ever meeting between the two programs, at the USTA National Campus to begin their Spring Break contests Sunday. Roger Williams opened up with a No. 1 doubles victory by Alessia Cahoon (Dedham, Mass.) and Gianna Ferraro (Westerly, R.I.), 8-5, and followed with a No. 3 doubles victory by Adriana Palmieri (Southington, Conn.) and Ella Mancini (Middlebury, Conn.), 8-6.
