Ashland Trio Of Divers Compete At D-II Nationals

The three Ashland University divers who qualified for the 2024 NCAA Division II Championships competed in the opening round of competition on Tuesday (March 12) at the Spire Academy in Geneva, Ohio. Freshman Riley Hunt finished in 20th place in women's 1-meter diving and 23rd in women's 3-meter diving. Sophomore Joey Lenczyk was 26th in men's 3-meter diving and 30th in men's 1-meter diving. Sophomore Maddi Whitticar placed 47th in 3-meter diving and 48th in 1-meter diving. Tuesday's action finished a successful 2023-24 season for the trio.
