Badrani Named Back-to-Back CCAA Track Athlete of the Week
SAN MARCOS, Calif. – Cal State San Marcos' Rasha Badrani has been voted the CCAA Women's Track Athlete of the Week for the second consecutive week (Mar. 4-10). The reigning CCAA Track Athlete of the Week followed up her previous award by breaking the 22-year-old school record in the 100-meter dash at 11.96 seconds at Cal State Fullerton's Ben Brown Invitational. The 22-year-old record was set in 2002 by Autumn Wright, and she eclipsed it by over a tenth of a second (12.07).
