Lyon College Men’s Basketball Wins Semifinals with Toney’s 34-Point Performance

RICHMOND, Virginia – The Lyon College Scots men’s basketball team will join the Scots women’s team for a history making event, when both teams will now be in the USCAA Division I Small College National Tournament Championship games on Wednesday. The Scots (18-8) defeated Bryant & Stratton Buffalo Bobcats 77-70 on Tuesday morning in the semifinal game to advance to the championship. Frank Toney led Lyon College with 34 points, while Nikola SaSaroga added 19 points and 13 rebounds for a double-double and Trenton Bell had 10 points to complete the double-figure scoring for Lyon.
