Nilsen Earns D3hoops.com All-Region Honors

MINNEAPOLIS, Minn. - D3hoops.com released its 2023-24 Women's Basketball All-Region Teams on Tuesday, March 12, with Macy Nilsen representing UW-River Falls on the All-Region 9 Third Team. Nilsen, a fifth-year senior from Edina, Minn., wrapped up her Falcon career this season averaging 16.0 points per game while receiving her third consecutive All-WIAC First Team honor. She becomes UWRF's first All-Region recipient since Taylor Karge in 2016. While appearing in 85 career games for the Falcons from 2020-24, Nilsen finished her time as a Falcon this season ranked eighth on the all-time UWRF scoring list with 1,261 career points.
