DAY TWO RECAP: Pioneer Women’s Swimming at NCAA Championships
Catharyn Hayne/KLC fotos GENEVA, Ohio - The second day of the 2024 NCAA Division II Swimming and Diving Championships took place Wednesday at SPIRE Institute Aquatics Center. It was the first day of action in the meet for Cal State East Bay women's swimming. There were two events on Wednesday that involved the Pioneers. Tehani Kong was one of three swimmers in the 50 yard freestyle to finish in 23.26 seconds in the prelims, which was tied for 10th place, which was fast enough to advance to the finals in the evening.
