PREP FOOTBALL: Eight from Cheyenne picked for 51st Shrine Bowl

CHEYENNE – Five players from state runner-up Cheyenne East and three from Cheyenne Central were chosen for the South team roster for the 51st Wyoming Shrine Bowl all-star football game. The charity game benefiting Shriners Hospitals for Children will be contested June 8 at Cheney Alumni Field on the campus of Casper’s Natrona County High. East will be represented by Kolbe Dierks, Cam Hayes, Drew Jackson, Nathan Mirich and Colby Olson. Central will have Mason Counter, Tyler Gaer and Miles Porwoll play in the game. East assistant Scott Hayes will be on the coaching staff.
