KHSAA girls basketball tournament 2024: McCracken County advances to Sweet 16 semifinals

Led by a pair of stellar seniors, the McCracken County High School girls basketball team is headed to the Sweet 16 semifinals for the second straight year. Claire Johnson posted 16 points and five assists and Mikee Buchanan added 15 points and eight rebounds to lead the Mustangs to a 47-41 victory over Bowling Green on Friday in the quarterfinals of the Mingua Beef Jerky/KHSAA Sweet 16 at Rupp Arena.
