Pirates Wrap Up Day One At CSCAA National Invitational Championship

OCALA, Fla. – East Carolina's 400-yard medley relay and 200-yard freestyle teams posted top 16 finishes following day one of the CSCAA National Invitational Championship on Thursday. The 400-yard medley relay team of Brynna Wolfe, Heidi Bruining, Sara Kalawska and Mikayla Durkin posted a time of 3:45.21 for a 15th place finishing earning 26 points. ECU's 200-yard freestyle team of Carlie Clements, Durkin, Laura Kellberg and Bruining placed 16th with a time of 1:33.30 for an additional 25 points, giving ECU 51 total points after opening day competition (22nd place in team standings).
