CSUSB Track & Field Shines at Hornet Invitational with Record-Breaking Performances

SACRAMENTO, Calif. – The California State University San Bernardino women’s track & field team kicked off the Hornet Invitational Friday afternoon at Hornet Stadium on the campus of Sacramento State. Junior Elizabeth Rushing (Oakdale, Calif.) opened the day by winning her heat in the hammer throw. She placed 11th overall with a heave of 47.38 meters, a personal best. In the 3,000m steeplechase, Jordan Dennert (San Bernardino, Calif.) had a top-10 finish for the Coyotes, finishing in ninth with a time of 11:53.66.
