DeAngelo Named All-Atlantic Region

The DII Conference Commissioner's Association (D2CCA) announced its All-Atlantic Region Women's Basketball Teams. Fairmont State's Alyssa DeAngelo was named First Tam All-Region. DeAngelo currently leads the Falcons with 19.8 points per game while making 87.4-percent of her free throws. A few weeks ago, she was named All-Conference First Team and the MVP of the Mountain East Conference Tournament. Last year, DeAngelo was named All-Region Second Team. Fairmont State faces Fayetteville State in the semifinals of the Atlantic Regional on Saturday, March 16. The game starts at 7:00 p.m. from Joe Retton Arena.
