Keane’s 21st Place Finish In 1,650 Highlights Final Day Of NIC Competition

The Central Connecticut State swimming and diving team completed its three days of competition at the CSCAA National Invitational Championship with five individual swims. Abbey Keane gave the Blue Devils their highest finish of the championship, placing 21st in the 1,650 with a swim of 16:59.52 Saturday. The NIC also sponsors a 1,000 freestyle, using the split from the 1,650. Keane placed 24th in 1,000, with her time of 10:18.01. Keane went out at 5:08.06, had her middle 500 at 5:09.95 and her third 500 was 5:10.15. Megan Dunnigan placed 27th in the 200 backstroke, with a swim of 2:03.53....
