Lady Tigers Sweep Allen

COLUMBIA, S.C. – The Benedict College softball team swept a doubleheader from Allen University on Saturday at Tiger Field. Benedict won the first game 8-0 and then won the second game 12-1 to improve to 6-17 overall and 4-7 in the SIAC. Olivia Townsend hit a two-run homer in the first game, while also picking up the pitching win. In the second game, Savanna Marshall held Allen to three hits.
