Six Women’s Soccer Grads Kick-Off 2024 NWSL Season
PISCATAWAY, N.J. — Six former Rutgers women's soccer student-athletes are set to begin the 2024 season for their professional teams in the National Women's Soccer League. The campaign kicked off with Amirah Ali and San Diego Wave FC winning the 2024 Challenge Cup over Kristen Edmonds and defending champions NJ/NY Gotham FC on March 15 at Red Bull Arena in New Jersey. Ali is in her third season with the Wave and has been on the roster for all three season's of the club's existence.
