Thiel College Track & Field Teams Kick Off Season with Strong Performances at Bethany Invitational

BETHANY, W.Va. – The Thiel College men’s and women’s track & field teams opened their outdoor seasons Saturday at the Bethany Invitational. Matt Beuermann (Devonport, Tasmania, Australia/Don College) led Thiel’s men’s team with a first-place finish in the 1,500-meter run (4:05.63). Also in the 1,500, Nathaniel Turner (Conneaut Lake, Pa./Conneaut Area) placed 31 st (4:47.89), Andrew Yocum (Boardman, Ohio/Boardman) was 32 nd (4:48.37) while Tristan Mlynarek (Delta, Ohio/Delta) finished 36 th (4:51.79).
