KENOSHA, Wis. – The Concordia Wisconsin women's tennis team came up short on Sunday against Carthage. The Firebirds secured the 7-2 victory to send the Falcons to 15-4 on the year. The Falcons won their first point of the day at No. 1 doubles. The team of senior Ashley Samuta (Glen Ellyn, Ill.) and senior Ricki Budewitz (Watertown, Wis.) won 8-2. Ashley Samuta also secured a 6-1, 6-3 victory over Marie Weis at No. 2 singles. The Falcons look to bounce back on March 23 against North Central and Greenville.
