Downey Named to All-SWAC Tournament Team

BIRMINGHAM, Ala. | Alabama A&M University junior guard/forward Lorenzo Downey was selected to the 2024 Southwestern Athletic Conference (SWAC) Men's Basketball All-Tournament Team, the conference announced after the conclusion of Saturday's championship game. Downey averaged 28.9 minutes as Alabama A&M reached the SWAC Men's Basketball Tournament Semifinals. He poured in 16 points, including going 4-for-5 from long range, in Alabama A&M's upset win over No. 2 seed Alcorn State on Wednesday.
