Islanders Matched Up with No. 1 USC for First NCAA Tournament Appearance
LOS ANGELES, Calif. – The Texas A&M-Corpus Christi women's basketball team got to hear its name called for the first time in program history for the NCAA tournament and it'll be quite the challenge as they got a No. 16 seed to be pitted against No. 1 University of Southern California in the first round in Portland Regional 3. The teams will face off in Los Angeles, California in the first round, slated for March 22-23. A specified date and time will be released by the NCAA later.
