Pewaukee takes home silver ball at boys state basketball tournament
MADISON — Pewaukee was unable to overcome an 18-point halftime deficit in the WIAA D2 state final Saturday night, eventually falling to Wisconsin Lutheran 83-62. In two previous match-ups this season, the Vikings beat the Pirates by 13 (78-65 on Dec. 20, 2023) and 8 (72-64 on Feb. 9), but the teams were destined to meet again in the state final.
