COLUMBIA, S.C. – Taj Bates hit a two-run homer in the 10th inning to lift the Benedict College Tigers to a 6-4 victory over Kentucky State on Sunday in a SIAC baseball contest. The Tigers tied the game at 4-4 in the bottom of the ninth on a solo home run by Jose Gil .
