Cardinals Settle for Narrow Runner-Up at Snowball’s Chance

FINAL RESULTS TIFFIN, Ohio – The Otterbein women’s golf team settled for a runner-up finish to begin its competitive spring slate over the weekend, taking second at the Snowball’s Chance Invitational hosted by Heidelberg. Ohio Northern (340) held off the Cardinals (341) by a single shot (at Mohawk Golf and Country Club) in a setting that featured high winds, cold temperatures, drifting snowflakes and a few potential icicles along the way. The Polar Bears, arguably more equipped for the atmosphere than a Cardinal, held on after seven schools went around the Par 72 course that played just over 5,800 yards.…
