The Georgia Bulldogs softball team picked up an impressive opening SEC series win over the No. 14 Alabama Crimson Tide. Georgia went 3-1 over the past week against quality competition. The Dawgs nearly swept the Crimson Tide, but came up just short in a 5-4 loss on Sunday. Georgia is now 23-4 on the season with wins over seven different ranked opponents.
