Auburndale, FL – The Brockport baseball team played Western New England bright and early Monday. Brockport won in an 8-1 final. In a slow start for both offenses, the Brockport pitching staff was effective throughout. Brian Doherty went 3.0 innings, allowing no runs and had two strikeouts. Michael Heilig picked up his first career win in his dominant relief performance. He went 5.0 innings allowing one run with two hits and six strike outs.
