Lakers Season comes to a close in the Regional Championship

ALLENDALE, MICH. – The GVSU women's basketball season came to a close tonight in the Midwest Regional Championship game. The Lakers fell 49-47 to Ferris State, to finish their season at 31-3. The Bulldogs got out to a 6-2 lead, but GVSU battled back to get within one point at 12-11 to close the opening quarter. GVSU continued that run, starting the second quarter on a 7-0 run, started by a triple from Hadley Miller .
