Track and Field Places Several in Program Record Books at Rhodes College Invitational

MEMPHIS, Tenn. – The Millsaps men’s and women’s track and field programs continued their early season success with several program high-water marks, set over the weekend at the Rhodes College Invitational. The Majors competed at the Wolfe Track and Field Complex on Friday and Saturday where senior Patrick Elliott broke the program record in the steeplechase and freshman Jeremiah Hall won the men’s long jump. Elliott sizzled with a time of 9 minutes, 41.80 seconds to place second out of 10 competitors and only 0.09 off the winner from NCAA DII Christian Brothers.
