Women’s Rowing, Lacrosse Secure SSC Weekly Honors

MELBOURNE, Fla. – For the third week running, multiple Embry-Riddle student-athletes have won Sunshine State Conference Athlete of the Week Awards. Women's Lacrosse's Caitlin Gavin along with the women's rowing Varsity 4+ boat were selected as the best in the SSC for the week of Mar. 11-17. The Varsity 4+ boat, containing Shelby Ernst, Sofia Lorenzini, Soleil Edwards, Alexandra Weilert and Jadyn Harjung (coxswain), won the varsity four race in 7:53.9, beating out Jacksonville (8:04.5) and Drake (9:35.3) at the DeLand Double Duals on Saturday, Mar. 16.
