WSOC: Cascades fall to Victoria and TWU at Keg Cup
The University of the Fraser Valley Cascades women’s soccer team fell 3-0 on Saturday to the University of Victoria Vikes, and 2-1 to the Trinity Western University Spartans on Sunday at the annual Keg Cup tournament in Victoria. After a young Cascades’ side was held scoreless by the hosts on Saturday, TWU caused them problems early on Sunday. The Cascades found themselves down 2-0 after eight minutes of play, but UFV found their footing and that scoreline held to halftime.
