BIRMINGHAM, Ala. | In his first season with the Florida A&M track and field program, Joseph DeRosier has garnered four weekly awards from the Southwestern Athletic Conference (SWAC). The freshman was recently tagged Co-Indoor Track Athlete of the Week on Tuesday (March 19) after collecting FAMU's first win of the outdoor schedule at the UCF Black & Gold Invite. DeRosier's first-place performance in the 110-meter hurdles (13.64) currently ranks third in the NCAA. He also competed in the 200-meter dash (21.90), placing 36th overall in a 61-person field. DeRosier and the Rattlers return to action Friday at the FSU Relays.
