Gylander Signs With Detroit Red Wings
HAMILTON — Colgate senior goaltender Carter Gylander signed a two-year entry-level contract with the Detroit Red Wings Tuesday. Gylander, who got chosen by Detroit in the fifth round of the 2019 NHL Entry Level Draft, will begin his deal with the team's AHL affiliate, the Grand Rapids Griffins, at the start of the 2024-25 season. The netminder finished his time as a Raider with a .907 career save percentage and a 2.69 goals-against average.
