Podeyn resigns as Nicholls Women’s Soccer head coach

THIBODAUX, La. - Robert Podeyn has stepped down as the head coach of the Nicholls State University women's soccer program and accepted the same role at Mohave Community College. Podeyn finished his third and final season with the Colonels with a 1-17-1 overall record. Nicholls closed out 2023 with a 2-2 draw against Northwestern State, ending a lengthy loss streak in conference. After dropping all 18 matches in his inaugural campaign, the Colonels tallied two victories and one draw in 2022. A national search for a new coach will begin immediately.
