Smith Named Track Athlete of the Week

MOUNT BERRY, Ga. – The Southern Athletic Association has named Ethan Smith of Vikings Track and Field, the Track Athlete of the Week. The sophomore earns this honor for his performance in the Rhodes Invitational this past weekend. Smith placed fourth in the 5000m with a time of 14:53.28, which is a lifetime PR by over thirty seconds! This is the fastest time ran in the SAA and is also ranked No.1 Regionally. The next day he also placed sixth in the 800m. Ethan and the team are back in action this weekend at the Lee Invitational in Tennessee.
