Baseball battles back to best Jumbos
ORANGE, Calif. — Chapman baseball picked up their second-straight win in come-from-behind fashion, beating the Tufts Jumbos 6-4 on Wednesday, March 20. A Trent Turquand two-run blast and Ryan Nopper RBI single capped off a three-run sixth inning for the Panthers, who trailed 4-2 heading into the frame. The Panthers tacked on an insurance run in the eighth via a Tommy Golbranson single. It began as a pitcher duel with freshman Luke Bradley tossing three innings of one-hit ball.
