Blythe Buntrock Named MIAA Athlete of the Week

KANSAS CITY, Mo. – Central Oklahoma All-American senior Blythe Buntrock was named MIAA Women's Tennis Athlete of the Week Wednesday following a standout performance on the courts. Buntrock went 4-0 last week as she led the Bronchos to a 7-0 win at Arkansas Fort Smith. Buntrock won both her matches in that contest. She did the same Tuesday against Mississippi College although the Bronchos came up short, 4-3. Along with partner Pete Komada, the 23rd-ranked Doubles team in the country won 7-6 (7-4) against the 24th-ranked squad from MC in a big matchup at the No. 1 Doubles position. Buntrock,...
