Finkel Turns in Top Time of 500 Free Prelims

GREENSBORO, N.C. – Connecticut College junior Justin Finkel (Cheshire, Conn.) got off to a strong start at the 2024 NCAA Division III Swimming & Diving Championships on Wednesday at the Greensboro Aquatic Center, turning in the fastest time in the preliminaries of the 500 freestyle. With his time of 4:25.42, Finkel was one of eight swimmers who qualified for tonight's championship finals. He will make his second career championship finals appearance in the event, as last season he finished as national runner-up.
